How Often Should You Get a Massage?
As mentioned before, it mostly depends on the individual.
How often should you get a massage depends on many factors such as physical and emotional needs. That includes your stress levels, but you shouldn’t forget about your budget either.
Getting a massage regularly will definitely bring the best benefits of massage to your health and body. On the other hand, if you get a massage every once in a while, it will definitely be relaxing, but it might not do much to your muscle tensions that build up easily over time.
On average, a great guess for everyone would be to go on a massage once every week or two weeks. It will keep your muscles and tissue in a good shape.
When you start feeling better and feel good, you shouldn’t quit getting a massage. I’d still highly recommend you to get a massage at least once a month so it will maintain the tissue health.
Also, it depends on how much you think you’re willing to invest in yourself. Getting a good therapist is as important, and you shouldn’t settle for someone who doesn’t have the right license or lots of experience just becausethey’re cheaper.
